Terms and Conditions of Use

The present terms and conditions of use ("Terms") govern the use of our websites and mobile application, including ligue1.fr, ligue2.fr, ligue1.com, lfp.fr, connect.myligue.fr, and the mobile application MY LIGUE (hereinafter referred to as the "Sites and/or App") published by the LFP (information about the LFP is available in the legal notices by the user of the Site or App ("User"), whether they are: • an internet user accessing the Site or App, visiting, and browsing the Site or App; • an internet user registering, creating an account, and accessing their account on the Site or App. By browsing the Site or accessing the App and performing actions there, the User acknowledges having read and accepted these Terms without reservation. The LFP reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. The applicable Terms are always those that were in effect at the time of access by the User. These Terms are supplemented by the Information on the Processing of Personal Data.

The User is solely responsible for setting up the computer, technical, network, and telecommunications means required to access the Site or App, as well as for having the necessary knowledge to use the Internet and access the Site or App. The User bears the costs of connection and equipment related to Internet access and the use of the Site or App. The User accesses and uses the Site and/or App at their own risk. It is prohibited to attempt to gain unauthorized access to the services of the Site and/or App, to access the Site, or to remain there by any means other than the interface provided to the User by the LFP for this purpose.

The User has the option to create an account on the Site or the App directly by providing their information. Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions is essential for creating an account. Creating a User account allows you to: • Create an account by providing identification details, including your favorite club; • Access and update your account with personal information; • Access key information about your favorite club, favorite players, and your saved items (articles and videos); • Specify email preferences to receive communications from the LFP or its partners regarding competitions, offers, or various football-related events; • Receive mobile notifications and alerts based on your preferences from the LFP; • Access your user account on both the Sites and the App (My Ligue connect).

Each User is required to use the Sites and the App, including their User account if created, responsibly with respect and courtesy towards third parties and the LFP. In this regard, by accessing the Sites and/or the App (including their account), the User agrees not to: • Perform any act that they are not authorized to perform under applicable laws and regulations; • Upload to the Site and/or App or display: content that they are not authorized to transmit under applicable laws and regulations; illegal, harmful, threatening, defamatory, harassing, offensive, criminal, vulgar, obscene, contrary to public morals, infringing upon someone's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable content; content that may harm the image of the LFP or any third party (including LFP partners); unsolicited or unauthorized advertising or promotional materials or any other form of solicitation; any item containing software viruses or other codes, files, or programs designed to interrupt, destroy, or limit the functionality of any software, hardware, or telecommunications equipment; • Disrupt or interrupt the operation of the Site and/or App or the servers or networks connected to the Site and/or App; Attempt to harm other Users, the hosting provider, or network, including exposing the Site and/or App to a virus, creating an overload, flooding the server, etc.; • Access data that is not intended for them or enter a server/account they are not authorized to access; • Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of a system, including the Site and/or App or a network, or violate security or authentication measures without authorization; • Impersonate another person, including another User; • Transmit or transfer (by any means) information or software derived from the Application to other countries or certain foreign nationals in violation of national or international laws or regulations. The User is solely responsible for any loss or damage, including damage to their computer system/devices (computers, smartphones, tablets, etc.) or loss of data resulting directly or indirectly from their actions.

Certain elements of the Site and the App (such as trademarks, software, databases, photographs, illustrations, texts, graphic design, or combinations of these elements) may be protected by intellectual property rights, including copyrights and trademarks. For example: Ligue 1, Ligue 2, My Ligue, Coupe de la Ligue are registered trademarks of the LFP. The disclosure of these elements via the Sites or the App shall not be interpreted as granting any license or right other than the right to consult and use the Site(s) or the App for personal purposes within its intended function. Any total or partial reproduction of the Site or its elements without prior written authorization from the publisher (LFP) may lead to legal proceedings against the infringers.

The Sites and the App may provide links to other websites, applications, or other sources of information managed by partner websites or third parties. Since the LFP cannot control these partner websites or third-party applications, it makes no commitment regarding the availability and content of these partner websites or third-party applications and external sources. The LFP disclaims all responsibility for the processing of personal data carried out through these partner websites or third-party applications, as well as for their content, advertisements, products, services. The LFP also disclaims responsibility for any proven or alleged damages or losses arising directly or indirectly from the use of, or reliance on, the content, goods, or services available on these partner services or external sources. Setting up links to the Sites or the App does not require prior agreement, but the person doing so agrees to comply with applicable laws and these Terms of Use. However, the linked site should be opened in a new browser window or tab, and the framing technique should not be used. Nevertheless, the LFP reserves the right to request the removal of a link that it considers not in accordance with the purpose of the Site or the App (especially these terms of use), defamatory, infringing, parasitic, or violating its rights or those of third parties.

The LFP undertakes to ensure the proper functioning of the Sites and the App; however, its liability cannot be held for any inconveniences or damages that the User may suffer due to the use of the Sites and/or the App, or inconveniences or damages inherent to the use of the Internet network, including service interruption, external intrusion, or the presence of computer viruses.

All information (dispatches, photos, logos) is protected by intellectual property rights owned by the LFP. Therefore, none of this information may be reproduced, modified, transmitted, redistributed, translated, sold, commercially exploited, or reused in any manner without the prior written consent of the LFP.

If one or more provisions of the Terms and Conditions are held to be invalid or declared as such under any law, regulation, or as a result of a final decision by a competent court, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. In case of difficulties in interpreting any of the headings at the beginning of the provisions with any clause, the headings shall be disregarded and the content of the relevant clause shall prevail.

The LFP may terminate the User's use of the Site for any conduct that violates these Terms and Conditions.

These Terms and Conditions, and any documents referred to therein, are governed by French law. Any dispute arising out of the validity, interpretation, execution, and/or expiration of these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts within the jurisdiction of the Court of Appeal of Paris. However, the LFP reserves the right to initiate proceedings against you for violation of these terms and conditions in your country of residence or any other relevant country.
