Emanuel Emegha and Racing Club de Strasbourg will host Angers in a Coupe de France Round of 16 match this evening

ANgers SCO @ Racing Club de Strasbourg, 20:45

These two sides have already faced each other once this season, back in September. Sebastian Nanasi had staked the hosts to a one-goal lead at the break, but Bamba Dieng equalized just past the hour. The form of both sides has improved much since that match -- Racing have climbed to ninth, while Angers have eased away from the relegation battle thanks in part to the strong form of Esteban Lepaul. In Emanuel Emegha -- one of the nominees for the UNFP Ligue 1 January player of the month -- the Alsatians have their own talismanic forward, but the Dutchman will be suspended here, likely leaving Sékou Mara to start.

Toulouse FC vs. EA Guingamp

After a battling draw against OGC Nice at the weekend, Toulouse are ready to keep their strong run going in this encounter with Ligue 2 side Guingamp. Both of these teams have won the Coupe de France relatively recently -- the Bretons in 2014 and Toulouse in 2023. Both teams are expected to name first-choice sides, and for Guingamp that includes towering (2.00m) midfielder Kalidou Sidibé, a player who spent parts of four seasons with Les Violets.

Saint-Briochin vs OGC Nice

Led by veteran defender Christophe Kerbrat -- a familiar face to fans of Guingamp from their spell in the top flight -- the fourth-tier team upset Le Havre in the Round of 64 before beating Annency to reach this round. Like Les Aiglons, they play with a three-man defence and will look to hit their opponents on the counter, making them a dangerous proposition. Nice will of course be strong favorites, but their top scorer, Evann Guessand, is a doubt with an ankle injury, meaning Gaëtan Laborde could be tasked with leading the line.
